Fancy an item but unsure what it's going to sell for? When buying at auction always prepare well, ask the staff for an estimate for the item, experience will enable us to give you an estimated selling price. When bidding initially, obviously don't offer too high a price, but on the other hand don't offer too low a price. Offering a silly starting price will only infuriate your fellow bidders and the auctioneer, as it will only prolong the sale and encourage half the room to bid at the same time. Far better to be reasonable with your first offer.

When you bid please raise your hand or your card to show that you wish to increase the bid. Once successful the auctioneer will then make a note of your bidders number.

Registration

All prospective buyers must register at the main office before bidding. In order to bid you will require a bidding number for which a £100 refundable deposit is payable. Your bidding number can be kept for as long as you want.

We will contact you within 48 hours to give you your number and sort out payment of the refundable deposit.
